Turn off the A303 at the junction signposted Wincanton and Blandford. At the end of the slip road, at the roundabout, turn left, towards Blandford. At the next roundabout go straight across. At the third roundabout, turn left onto the A357 towards Blandford and Sherborne, and go under the road bridge. After approximately ½ mile, take the turn-off on the right signposted B3145 to Sherborne. |

Follow the B3145 for about ¾ mile, keeping straight on at the first cross-roads, and continuing up the hill to a staggered junction. The turning on the left goes down into North Cheriton and after it on the right is a narrow lane to Maperton. You will see the Fives Court wall on the left just before the Maperton turning. The entrance to the property is across the gravel forecourt and through the gates just to the left of the Fives Court wall. |

By road, from the A30. In Sherborne turn north at the traffic lights onto the B3145, signposted Charlton Horethorne and Wincanton (These are the first set of lights if travelling westbound, the third set if travelling eastbound). Continue for 4 miles through Charlton Horethorne, and then continue for a further 2 miles towards Wincanton, until you reach a hamlet with a 30mph sign. The barn is just 40 yards on the right. Turn right onto the gravel forecourt, which is just after the barn. The entrance to the property is through the gates just to the left of the Fives Court wall. |

By train, then bus or taxi. The nearest train station is Templecombe on the Waterloo to Exteter line. There is an hourly service during peak travel times, but the service is less frequent in the evenings and at weekends. Check timetable with National Rail Enquiries before making your journey. The 58/58A bus service from Yeovil to Wincanton goes through Templecombe and passes by North Cheriton about once an hour during the day, but the service is less frequent in the evenings, on Sundays and on Public Holidays. Times also vary depending on the route taken from Yeovil to Templecombe. Check the bus timetable with First Bus before travelling. From the train station turn left and walk about 100 yards to the bottom of the hill. The bus stop is by the bridge. Take the bus towards Wincanton (A357), and get off at the North Cheriton Cemetary stop. Walk through North Cheriton and up the steep hill past the church, to the junction at the top of the hill, in all about ¾ mile. Turn left towards Sherborne, and immediately you will see the Fives Court wall on the left just before the Maperton turning. The entrance to the property is across the gravel forecourt and through the gates just to the left of the wall.
